Members of the Sugar Land Book Break meet on the second Thursday of the month, beginning at 1:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The book club discussion on Thursday,
July 14, will be on Kathryn Stockett?s debut novel, The Help. Those attending are invited to bring a lunch, if desired.
For an evening alternative, the Sugar Land Book Club meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month, beginning at 7:00 pm, in the Conference Room. The discussion on Tuesday,
July 26, will be on Empire of the Summer Moon, a chronicle on the life of Quanah Parker and the Comanche Indians written by Samuel C. Gwynne.
