Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing Machine Reviews
We found mostly positive reviews of the Singer Confidence 7470 Sewing Machine. People commented how well written the instruction manual is and how smooth the machine sews. Winding the bobbin and threading the machine is super easy, and the menu is user friendly. The auto tensioner works perfectly every time and the machine has plenty of power to sew through multiple layers or thick fabric. The buttonholer is marvelous, the see through bobbin case is nice and the machine seems well made. One owner actually had the machine accidentally fall off the sewing table and crash to the floor and it survived without damage. Another owner stated " I love this machine".

We did come across some negative reviews for the Singer Confidence 7470. A few owners received machines that didn't work properly out of the box and had poor customer service when contacting Singer. Luckily Amazon was quick to replace any defective machines with new ones that worked fine. A few other issues mentioned are the light isn't bright enough, the machine is heavy to carry, you have to hold down the reverse button when sewing in reverse, the alphabet stitches are pretty small and it doesn't do embroidery very well.

Even though we found a few negative reviews for the Singer Confidence 7470 we think there a enough positives going for it that it would make a good choice for a beginner or intermediate sewer looking for an easy to use machine that has lots of features to grow into.
