Chemists Outrun Laws in War on Synthetic Drugs
Synthetic mimics of marijuana, dissociative drugs and stimulants -- such as the "bath salts" allegedly consumed by Randy Eugene, the Florida man shot after a horrific face-eating assault -- are growing in popularity and hard to control. Every time a compound is banned, overseas chemists synthesize a new version tweaked just enough to evade a law's letter.

Chris Brown 'Should Be Respected,' Bobby Brown Says

'The boy is talented, and you can't take talent away. He's a bona fide entertainer,' veteran singer tells MTV News.

Bobby Brown has been on the road with New Edition over the past few months for the group's 30th anniversary tour, and as the veteran entertainer gets ready to drop his fifth album, The Masterpiece, he's showering praise on contemporary stars like Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Usher who have furthered his R&B legacy.

During the height of New Edition's popularity in the '80s, Brown cemented a bad-boy image that stuck with him throughout the years, sometimes to his detriment. The new generation of R&B singers have faced their own unique challenges after being thrust into the spotlight, and maybe none as obvious as Chris Brown. Still, Bobby Brown thinks the young star isn't doing too badly for himself. "He's good; he's a church boy compared to me," Brown told MTV News matter-of-factly.

"Chris Brown is incredible. [He's] an incredible dancer, incredible singer. I respect him a lot because he's held his head up throughout everything that he's been through," Brown said, addressing the singer's much-publicized assault case against ex-girlfriend Rihanna. "He's only been through a little bit, but the boy is talented and you can't take talent away. Talent is given from God, you can't learn what he does. He's a bona fide entertainer and he should be respected."

Despite the setbacks Chris Breezy has faced, Bobby Brown is confident that he has what it takes to stick around in the long run. "He's still young and he's got a long way to go. I'm 30 years deep into this entertainment thing and I could see him 30 years from now, still doing what he does — flipping and singing and dancing," Brown continued. "And now he's getting ready to do a movie, so he's covering the spectrum of entertainment."

Chris isn't the only millennial entertainer who gets praise from Bobby Brown, though. "Trey Songz is definitely a talented brother, he's a talented writer, talented singer," he adds. "I just love the new generation of R&B singers, I think they're upholding what entertainment is about. I got it from Rick James and Michael Jackson, and I'm just grateful that they're taking what I love, what I'm passionate about, to the next level and keeping it young and fresh."

Usher, who will release his new album, Looking 4 Myself, just one week after The Masterpiece drops on June 5, is also on top of the list. "Before Usher even had a record out, I was training him, I'm surprised I didn't put him out," Brown said. "I worked with him a lot, teaching him different ways of training your body to dance and I'm proud of him. I'm glad he kept everything together."

Brown will continue his mission to entertain the masses with The Masterpiece, which is his first album in 14 years. And although he's got respect for the new crop of singers, he maintains that he needed to fly solo this time around. "This project is about me as an individual and me as far as growth in my life, so I didn't really want to go all commercial with it, and to make it something that became a spectacle." Brown admitted. "This is all about Bobby right now. It's just to get this off my heart and once this is released and people are able to hear it and appreciate it, then I can move forward with my life."

The Masterpiece, is set for release on June 5, led by the single "Don't Let Me Die."

How A VA Hybrid Loan Is Better Than A ... - FINANCE-DEBT RELIEF

By Mart T. Tribble

A VA Hybrid loan is available to those who want an adaptable mortgage with low repayments. These allow veterans to benefit from some of the lowest interest rates around. The finance option also allows for fixed interest rates for the first few years. Unlike other ARMs, this has better security when it comes to paying the variable rate, as this is regulated so it never goes too high. Those who switched from other loans saved hundreds of dollars on their monthly bills ? a very useful sum of money.

One of the defining features of those shopping for veteran loans is that they crave security in their payments. They want to know their home is safe and that they will be able to meet the monthly repayments without having to sacrifice other things to make ends meet. People are moving home more frequently than ever, and this means they need a mortgage such as a VA Hybrid loan that allows them this freedom to do so. The lower rate combined with the savings generated from paying off other creditors means costs seem more achievable with each month that goes by.

The VA Hybrid loan is met with some animosity over how effective it is. This is because there is an overall carefulness that is adopted when talking about variable mortgage options. The worry is that once the 3 or 5 years has passed and the plan become subject to changes in interest rates they will face higher than anticipated charges on what they owe. Because it is guaranteed and overseen by the Department of Veterans Affairs, it is kept at a very steady rate. When measured against the more conventional ARMs, the VA mortgage looks like an all-round more affordable deal than any other option.

Getting to the foundation of what a VA Hybrid loan really is, it?s obvious that it is simply a better agreement for veterans. Like all mortgages, it is always recommended to review the personal situation of the individual first. Despite this, the VA is carefully designed to have veterans? best interests at heart. These options have been tailored to suit the majority of American veterans who want to secure their home with a realistic payment option.

It can be a long path between deciding to refinance and find a new loan and arriving at a solution that is right. Those considering a Hybrid arrangement will be able to tell if it is right for them by discussing this with a mortgage advisor. There are plenty of qualified professionals who can do this, but veterans should find a VA agent they can depend on.

Choosing the right type of home loan to finance any purchase can be more overwhelming. Start saving money with VA hybrid and learn more how to save time, money and frustration. Make a choice to increase your savings by visiting here.

The Courts Decision on Arizona Immigration Laws | Law Firms ...

The United States has always been a place characterized by immigration. In reality, the nation was founded by a people who were immigrants to the land. All throughout its history, people from all over the world have sought to immigrate to America. Recently though, immigration has become a hot topic of debate around the nation. Like all countries, the United States has a series of laws that dictate what legal immigration is and how immigrants can settle in the country. Whether applying for a visa or applying for citizenship, immigrants must follow the protocol laid out by the United States? laws. The problem comes, however, when immigration is done illegally. The question, then, that is the source of so much turmoil is what to do about illegal immigration and what should be done with those who have already immigrated illegally?
This debate has essentially split the country down the middle, with a great deal of arguments and rationality on both sides of the equation. One of the areas of the country that has experienced the greatest amount of problems from the immigration issue is Arizona. In fact, according to the federal government Arizona has one of the fastest growing illegal immigrant populations in America. In Maricopa County alone, it is estimated that illegal immigrants make up 10 percent of the adult population. Recently the state has begun to implement new laws in an attempt to deal with the growing problem. These new provisions seem to be working as the federal government estimated that the illegal immigration population did indeed drop approximately 18 percent from 2008 to 2009. This new law called SB 1070 is approved of by 70 percent of Arizona?s population and only 23 percent are actually opposed to it.
Essentially what the SB 1070 law does is to adopt federal immigration policy as the state?s immigration policy. This makes the federal crime of violating immigration law a state crime as well. This enables the state to actually enforce the federal law with its local law enforcement agencies. Local police are allowed to inquire after immigration status only through the normal course of lawful contact, such as a traffic violation or if they have committed a crime. The law states that such inquiry must only be done based on a reasonable suspicion of illegal immigration status. Such reasonable suspicion can include if the individual does not have a drivers? license or some form of state issued identification, as Arizona does not give identification to illegal immigrants.
Recently this law has been challenged by the Obama administration and two key statutes of the law were blocked. The administration argues that the law exceeds state authority on immigration. Also, it says that immigration laws should be purely federal and that such regulation should be done under a united governmental front. The law has also been accused of merely being a racial profiling bill. However, the Arizona law specifically states that local law enforcement are not allowed to implement the law based solely on race, color, or nationality. In order for a police officer to put SB 1070 into action, there must be a reasonable suspicion.
The Supreme Court has subsequently been brought into the situation. In late April of 2012, the Supreme Court indicated that it may uphold those statutes that have been blocked, specifically the provision that mandates police officers to check immigration status. The justices agree that Arizona has a serious immigration problem as it sees one third of the nation?s illegal border crossings. An official ruling is expected sometime during the summer. Arizona is confident of its chances to get the bill approved. Other states, such as South Carolina and Alabama have already followed Arizona?s example and developed immigration laws of their own. The Supreme Court?s decision on the matter could be a major turning point in the relationship between the states and the federal government.

Sweet!

If I didn't already own Mk IV, I'd get this. It's a reasonable value for what you receive IMO.

First Lady says politics is tough, even for Obama girls

She said her daughters had learned to be thick-skinned in an election year.

By Nancy Benac,?The Associated Press / May 29, 2012

First Lady Michelle Obama on ABC's The View Tuesday morning.

Michelle Obama says her daughters are learning that even the kids of politicians have to have a thick skin.

"Politics is tough," the first lady said Tuesday. "That's just sort of the nature of the beast."

But she said daughters Sasha and Malia, at ages 10 and 13, also know that no matter what happens in the November election, "their life is good either way."

Mrs. Obama chatted about family life, this year's re-election campaign and what's not ahead for her ? a career in politics ? during a round of interviews promoting the release of her new book on the White House garden.

As for the personal attacks that swirl around her husband in a campaign year, the first lady said: "You just sort of have to have a thick skin in this thing. And your kids do too."

Malia and Sasha "understand that their world is secure no matter what," Mrs. Obama said on ABC's "The View." ''They've grown to understand that home is wherever we are. ... And Dad is always going to be Dad. So they're good."

The first lady left no doubt on the question of a political future of her own.

"Those are other people's rumors," she said. "I have no interest in politics. Never have. Never will."

She added: "The one thing that is certain: I will serve. I will serve in some capacity."

Mrs. Obama said her work to support military families "is a forever proposition. They will always need a voice out there."

Later, with Jon Stewart of "The Daily Show," Mrs. Obama talked about the virtues of fresh veggies and wouldn't bite at a Stewart suggestion that she use her higher poll ratings as a weapon in any argument with her husband.

"I don't wield it over him," she said. "One of the things I've seen over the last 3 1/2 years, I've seen what it takes to be president. I kind of watch this thing pretty closely. You know, the president is getting all the hard decisions, where there is no easy answer."

During her media tour the first lady offered other tidbits about the Obama family, and her efforts to promote healthy eating and exercise:

?The president isn't much of a griller-in-chief. "He doesn't mind grilling, but I was the griller in our household. ... I love to grill anything," she said in an interview airing Thursday on "Rachael Ray."

?She doesn't have to worry about deer or other animals nibbling on plants in the White House garden, thanks to "a big fence and men with guns," she said on "The View." There were some pesky birds to contend with, however.

?Her effort to fight childhood obesity "isn't about government telling people what to do," she told ABC's "Good Morning America." It's designed to give families information, support and resources to find their own solutions.

The first lady's gardening book, released Tuesday by Crown Publishers, is "American Grown: The Story of the White House Kitchen Garden and Gardens Across America."

Selecting and buying SEO domain names - Income opportunities ...

Resources to secure a great Domain Names.

Internet is all about short and catchy domain names though, of late, long and unattractive domain names but highly search engine optimized are favored by seasoned web masters.

Domain names can be purchased from hundreds of domain seller but only a handful of them are heavy sellers due to several reasons though it is not a price? factor.

About 6 years ago, having a domain name that describes your business in one or two words was the norm for branding your business online.

I know how difficult it is to come up a high quality generic domain name because, every time I thought I am a genius to have cooked a fantastic domain name, I was disappointed that it was already taken.

Therefore, it is important to know where to look and how to get your hands on domain names that were already taken but available for sale. Some times, the list of 'about to expire' domain names would contain a gem.

If you have business acumen, you should buy domain names in such a way that you could sell it for huge profit. Domain name selling is a big Internet business that doesn't require much investment.

No-Fuss Payday Loan Finance Resources Plans ? The Best Routes ...

Have you been thinking of getting a payday loan? Join the crowd. Many of those who are working have been getting these loans nowadays, in order to get by until their next paycheck. But do you really know what payday loans are all about? In this article, you will learn about payday loans. You may even learn things you never knew!

When trying to plan out your post-emergency budget, your top priority should be avoiding the next emergency and getting things flowing again. Do not assume that everything will work itself out, and you are going to be just fine, simply because you are this very moment. You have to pay the money back.

An important tip to anyone looking to take out a payday loan is to make sure that whichever lender you are applying to get the loan from is licensed in your state. Each state has different lending laws and in order to get a legit and legal loan, your lender must be licensed to operate in your state.

When you go in to meet with a payday lender, save yourself some trouble and take along the documents you need, including identification, proof of age, and evidence of employment. You must demonstrate to the lender that you have stable income, and that you are 18 years of age or older.

Make sure to stay updated with any rule changes with regards to your payday loan lender. Legislation is always being passed that changes how lenders are allowed to operate so make sure you understand any rule changes and how they affect you and your loan before signing a contract.

Payday loans usually carry very high interest rates, and should only be used for emergencies. Although the interest rates are high, these loans can be a lifesaver, if you find yourself in a bind. These loans are especially beneficial when a car breaks down, or an appliance tears up.

Make sure that you read all of the fine print, before applying for a payday loan. Many people get burned by payday loan companies, because they did not read all of the details before signing. If you do not understand all of the terms, ask a loved one who understands the material to help you.

If you have to pay for something right now and you have no other way of borrowing money, a short term loan from a company like Western Union can be utilized. As long as you do not make a habit of it, payday loans can be an option for you!

Restaurant Industry: Car insurance and winter driving

For example, did you prepare your vehicle for facing bad weather conditions? After all, it's predictable there will be snow and ice in winter. So did you fit new tires so you would have the maximum possible traction in slippery conditions? Or did you remember to put chains in the trunk so that, when the snow gets deeper, you can still drive reasonably safely? We all know the risk of sliding or skidding out of control. Why then do we fail to take action to protect ourselves and other road users? There are probably several reasons, not the least of which are that this means spending money on buying the chains, some think it inconvenient to fit them, and you cannot drive fast when you have them fitted. The fact local governments may require chains to be fitted as a condition to using the roads in some areas is not considered a reason for action (curiously, there are no chain laws in Florida and Missouri - strange oversight).

Then we come to all those routine maintenance tasks like adding antifreeze and retuning the engine so it's more likely to start when the temperature drops. Did you fit new blades on the windshield to give you better visibility when there's snow fall or a blizzard? And then we come to all the steps to protect you should your vehicle break down or be involved in an accident. Do you have an emergency bag packed with warm clothing and blankets should you need to keep warm while rescue comes? You did remember to charge your cell so you could call for help? If you are making a trip cross-country where signal strength may be low, did you tell people when you were expected so they could send out search and rescue teams?

All these things are basic common sense yet, when the first snows hit, we seem to have forgotten to prepare. If accidents are more likely because of this failure and it's shown to be a regular failure, your car insurance rates will rise. If you have been making claims, the car insurance quotes coming in from other insurers will not be welcoming. No insurer wants to take on someone who fails to prepare in the face of obvious dangers. That's why insurers in the states where the weather is worst offer discounts for drivers who go on defensive driving courses and learn how to drive more safely. Your choice!

Trust Me, Every Pregnancy is Different | Beijingkids Blog - Beijing Kids

If you or a loved one is pregnant or has been pregnant or if you are even considering pregnancy as a lifestyle choice (hey, not everyone wants to have children), then you have probably heard that no two pregnancies are alike. Usually when this truism is pronounced it is in reference to the expectant mother and is often used to placate some fear such as ?I had swollen ankles and doubled in weight before finally delivering in the checkout lane at Ikea (those lines can be so long), but I?m sure that won?t happen to you. Every pregnancy is different.? It is always so reassuring.

Although I use to have my doubts about how much difference there could possibly be from one pregnancy to the next, especially when a mother compares her own pregnancies, since Savvy (my patient, adorable, and brilliant wife) became pregnant for a second time, the differences are drastic. For starters, this time she is pregnant with twins. Personally, I had no idea it worked this way, but you can be darn certain we will not be trying for a third pregnancy. Twins I can manage, but I wouldn?t even know where to put a set of triplets in our flat.

The other huge difference I?ve noticed is in the bizarre cravings she has. With Reina (our first child), Savvy was always asking for ice water, even in the night. I?ve heard of some fairly strange pregnancy cravings: one woman wanted pig?s ears ? but only from the left side of the beasts, and another only craved fresh mangoes - from her neighbor?s tree on the other side of a walled courtyard. Still, when you consider the near daily effort I had to make to actually open the freezer and take out ice cubes, it is easy to see how tasking this was for me ? not to mention the refilling of the ice cube trays. With the twins, Savvy has thus far exhibited no cravings other than food in general. This absence of cravings is really throwing me off my paternal game as I?m not sure what to do with all the ice cubes I stocked the freezer with.

Despite what you may have heard, the main difference I?ve noted in multiple pregnancies is the toll it takes on the father. Whereas last time I had to accompany my wife to the hospital for the ultrasounds and checkups, this time I?m also expected to occasionally walk our daughter to school and bathe her too. It is truly draining. Honestly dads, I don?t know how we manage it.

The Internet Media in Business | Walter Finance and Investment

It has always been important for the realization of any person having a social environment in which being accepted, allows you to interact and communicate with each of its members. With the advent of Web 2.0 the way we communicate and the transformation of the social environment have been radical.

INTERNET

Without the emergence of the Internet as a new medium, would not have been possible to create the tools and the necessary channel so they could develop social settings among people who are born and develop every day in social networks.

But online communication has not always been so, the first Internet communication between two people was through an email, then came the forums, which addressed issues related to a specific topic, but communication was not in real time and this prevented the possibility of generating effective communication. By then there were the Chats, who can not remember where you walked in IRC-related halls thematic or social affinities, MSN Messenger, ICQ and other messaging programs that allowed us the opportunity to have a means of real-time communication but with many limitations, since none of these communication channels and other I did not add, by its limitations prevented us from creating and participating in social settings at all levels.

SOCIAL NETWORKS

Social networks have allowed us to take advantage of the possibilities offered by Internet to communicate breaking down physical barriers, can participate and create dynamic social environments, with groups of people did not know of them from childhood or relate to others that are in the other the world. This new dimension of the social, created through the social networking sites, is bringing a revolution in the world of communication.

It is clear that the success of social networks is the possibility they have had to seamlessly integrate social environments. This is the fundamental basis on which social media tour.

THE?SOCIAL MEDIA AND BUSINESS

We are witnessing a true boom, we have a Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.. Even in the soup! They have such a role, many professional media and social media have become the axis around which you must turn online marketing. They keep out Gurus who preach from the rooftops that all companies must be whether or social networks, if not, their businesses do not exist on the Internet. I think these are crap as a temple words are too strong and radical. I say that the companies if they are not social networks may not exercise complete control and immediate communication of the influence of your Product / Brand, but will have presence on the Internet and much, provided they have a professional corporate web (real and only the cornerstone on which he has turned and turn today?s online marketing companies).

As in any niche market that suddenly becomes popular and generated a huge buzz, there?s a lot opportunist who takes the car and we just sold the bike to make a killing, we must be careful and distinguish the professionals with years of experience in this sector and evolve with it, and the opportunists that have appeared from nowhere and we can waste time and money.

So the Social Media is not essential for business? What the companies whose customers to other companies, may be interested really have a presence on social networks? To find answer to these questions and others, which we must be clear, is that you have to know what options and opportunities we can offer social networks and know how to exploit them.

OPPORTUNITIES THAT PROVIDE SOCIAL NETWORKS

A few years working in a company, some colleagues find that in some forums a topic related to our products, customers and potential were talking about our products, including asking them their opinion potential customers who had purchased these products were created thread in the forums that sometimes he spoke well and others spoke ill. By the company decided to attempt to participate in the forums thread, the attempt was a failure, basically because we were unable to create the right customer communication environment-brand, over time I realized that part of the fault had the medium (a forum) did not allow us to create a true social media environment.

Today the companies have the ability to interact with the social environments in which you can find our potential, more so the most interesting and positive is that the brand can create social environments in which this invitation to come to their clients and potential, offering the possibility of being members of a wealth of communication between the client-label-products.

If we create this climate of communication, we can get on social networks more likely to promote our products and services with a higher return than any other advertising medium. The climax for a company with a presence in social networks, is when the users get to talk about you positively and you sell to other users, the best communicator of a brand, not a big Comunity Manager is a truly satisfied customer , have this very clear.

THE VALUE OF FOLLOWERS

Let me make clear that social networks, brands have to interact intelligently with their followers, because if not, that can happen is that one day hauls a thousand gazillion ask your followers and do not answer anyone. This happens by the following. If aporias not enough value to your followers, they will forget you and only you will ignore. Imagine on twitter, if you throw a message when a fan is not reading your time line, this is not going to read and most importantly, if you are not important to him, nor will you added to a list so I can read later carefully, the message is hopelessly lost in the depths of your time line. In social networks not only have to get followers, if not to become an influential brand or reference. The followers must be willing to hear from us, we must be able to generate buzz.

All this work on social media takes time, not come and kiss the saint, not Sergio Ramos are all like that aside from having a community of 1,792,328 ?Like? on Facebook and other community of 2,290,921 of Twitter followers in most of such member of his community are expectant to your comments.

On this subject I want to make clear, is that firms in social networks first thing you have to do is listen, then gradually participate in the talks. Brands can not be posting links to other news and communicating in one direction and that is that many brands still do not know how to participate in social networks, the secret is to be able to create a social environment of communication, in which Mark speaks with his followers. Anyway this is an entirely new environment, much remains to be done and much to learn.

RETURN OF SOCIAL NETWORKS FOR BUSINESS

To give you an idea, doing great work, the return on social networks for a brand from scratch is not known, is at least after six months or a year?s work. If you get a return in a shorter period, without knowing neither God ? Put yourself in the hands of a great professional in the field, creating the best content ever seen, and viral?zate as a pest in social networks, yet I wish you luck.

CONCLUSIONS

Is it worth being in social networks with the great effort involved? At first I say yes, because today there is no other channel can offer you a better chance of promotion and projection to a very low cost. But before starting, an expert in Online Marketing, repeat an expert in Online Marketing, you have to do some research and plan a campaign, in which the Comunity Manager will set the work to be performed when the leading brand communication in social networks.

Anyway you have to prioritize needs in businesses, marketers of these generators of business, have to decide whether to bet on social media or even not the time, so if you made clear is that business sectors is that if your target audience is the end, I recommend that should be in social networks to create social environments of communication, contact, talk to your potential, position your company as a leader in your industry with a blog and share your post on social networks in which you face.

If your target are companies, your presence in social networks is not so important but if advisable, consider making the leap And if you have time and an online marketing professional can advise you and guide.

Iran talks with world powers hit snag over sanctions

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iran accused world powers on Thursday of creating "a difficult atmosphere" hindering talks on its atomic energy program, signaling a snag in diplomacy to ease a stand-off over fears of a covert Iranian effort to develop nuclear bombs.

The nub of the dispute was not immediately clear as the high-stakes negotiations in pursuit of a framework deal to stop a feared drift towards a new Middle East war went into a second day in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.

But Iran had served notice that it wanted immediate relief from economic sanctions as part of any deal to stop higher-grade uranium enrichment, a pathway to nuclear arms, whereas Western powers insisted Tehran must first shut it down.

Iranian media close to Tehran's delegation said it was insisting on a "principle of "reciprocity" of concessions they said was promised by the powers in preparatory talks in Istanbul last month but was not guiding the Baghdad negotiations.

"Iranian diplomats close to the negotiations believe that the (powers') approach in Istanbul was more positive and encouraging than what is being seen in Baghdad," the Iranian student agency ISNA reported.

"It remains to be seen whether Iran is prepared to continue negotiations in the ambiguous conditions that the West is following in the new round of talks, or not," ISNA said.

Washington voiced cautious hope on Wednesday that Iran was finally engaging the powers on detailed, transparent ways of proving its nuclear work, after years of secrecy and evasions of U.N. investigations, would be for peaceful purposes only.

European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton, heading the powers' delegation in Baghdad, met her Iranian counterpart on Thursday before the two sides resumed a full plenary session, a Western diplomat said.

IRANIAN OBJECTIONS

But an Iranian delegate poured cold water on suggestions from Western diplomats that the two sides appeared to be finding common ground on proposals for an outline deal.

"What we heard in Istanbul was more interesting," he said, referring to exploratory talks that ended a 15-month diplomatic deep freeze during which the West escalated sanctions to target Iran's oil exports.

"We believe the reason (the powers) are not able to reach a result is America," the official said, asking not to be named. "(They) came to Baghdad without a clear mandate so we think the atmosphere is difficult."

A senior U.S. official said earlier the six powers had put specific gestures to lessen sanctions pressure on the table as part of a step-by-step confidence-building process.

A Western diplomat said that one element of the offer was an easing of restrictions to exports of aircraft parts to Iran - a relatively modest step unlikely to unblock the broader standoff.

After the Iranian criticism, another diplomat at the talks said none of the six powers - the United States, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany - were "'rolling back' on anything.

"By coming to Baghdad and putting on the table a forward-looking package, we are being pro-active, engaging and building on Istanbul. Any negotiation on an issue like this is never going to be straightforward, but it's far too early to give a clear read-out of how things are progressing."

Increasing tensions have thrust global oil prices upward as the West has extended sanctions to block Iran's crude exports and the specter of Middle East conflict has risen from possible Israeli strikes on Iran's fortified nuclear installations.

Under the nervous scrutiny of oil markets and Iran's arch-enemy Israel - believed to be the only Middle East country with nuclear weapons, the two sides met for a full day on Wednesday, negotiating deep into the night.

Iranian chief negotiator Saeed Jalili presented a five-point package of proposals covering a wide range of nuclear and non-nuclear issues, according to Iranian media. But a European diplomat said: "We are not quite sure what these five points are. We are trying to find out. There are no details."

The U.S. official said the dialogue revealed a "fair amount of disagreement, but we still have to come to closure about what are the next appropriate steps."

Iran, the world's No. 5 oil exporter, says it is enriching uranium only for electricity to serve needs of a burgeoning population, and for a medical research reactor.

The overall goal of the six countries jointly negotiating with Tehran is an Iranian agreement to limit uranium enrichment in a transparent, verifiable way to ensure it cannot be diverted to bomb making. The Islamic Republic's priority is to secure a swift end to sanctions isolating the country.

The powers' main proposal was for Iran to halt its uranium enrichment to the higher fissile concentration of 20 percent.

That is the Iranian nuclear advance most worrying to the West since it largely overcomes the technical obstacles to reaching 90 percent, or bomb-grade, enrichment. Tehran says the 20 percent material will serve as fuel for a research reactor.

It has hinted at flexibility on higher-grade enrichment, although analysts say it would be unlikely to compromise much while sanctions remain in place.

In the absence of diplomatic compromise, Iran appeared to be putting "more facts on the ground" to boost its position.

A U.N. nuclear agency report due in the next few days is expected to show that Iran has installed more uranium enrichment centrifuges at an underground site, potentially boosting output capacity of nuclear work global powers want it to stop.

The Islamic Republic has repeatedly ruled out suspending all enrichment as called for by several U.N. Security Council resolutions, saying nuclear energy is a matter of national sovereignty and pride in technological progress.

Advantages of a Personal Injury Attorney

It can be a trying time for people who experience a serious injury or death of a love due to another party?s negligence. People can face many hardships during this time, however, you don?t need to experience this issue alone. Injuryattorneys defend people who were injured due to another party?s negligence. These cases include but are not limited to slip and falls, elevator accidents, automobile accidents, dog bites, or faulty products. Also, it should be mentioned that a person involved in medical negligence cases would benefit from a personal injury attorney. Three different areas that people normally look at to see if they have a case are fault, cause and damages. First, you must prove that a party was at fault for your injury. The second is cause. You must be sure that the party you accuse of causing an injury must be proven to have acted in a way that directly affected your injuries. Finally, damages, you must prove that you were injured. To be sure that you have examined every legal aspect of a personal injury case you should contact a personal injury attorney.

Personal injury lawyers can help you determine whether or not your case is worth pursuing. Keep in mind, just because one law firm doesn?t think you have a case doesn?t mean that another law firm will have the same thought process. Many personal injury law firms will not take a case if they think that you cannot be compensated for your injuries. Many personl injury law firms only get paid when they win. If they do accept your case, they will typically pursue compensation for past, present and future damages due to your injuries.

If you are injured it is important to seek a lawyer quickly because if you wait you may not be able to prove that there were any damages at all. Speed can be of the utmost of importance when searching for a lawyer because it may become more difficult to prove damages overtime. A lawyer is an advocate for you. They speak on your behalf and strive to provide the best possible representation. They try to cater their services to your very own needs so that you receive the best care. When you are seriously injured and your future will be compromised you may be in need of compensation to feel the void of unemployment or medical bills. Without a lawyer you will most likely not get the award that you deserve.

Its important that you choose a good personal injury lawyer. You should be sure that you pick the correct personal injury lawyer so that you do in fact get adequate representation. The perfect lawyer should specialize with personal injury law. You also need to speak with your lawyer to examine their fee schedules to be sure that the payments are reasonable for you. As mention previously most personal injury law firms are paid on contingency. Although they get paid if they win the case, a personal injury law firm?s rates may vary so it?s important to work on the details prior to signing any agreement.

Another important factor to check when vetting an attorney is to see if they have worked on a similar case. Check their past cases to see if their familiar with your situation and what was their settlement on their case. You may even be able to get an idea of the average payout for similar cases as yours. This may help you in determining which law firm to hire. If a law firm has been successful in the past, they may be more likely to understand how to pursue your present case.

People typically find a personal injury legal battle difficult. It can be stressful but if you have a good personal injury attorney it can may the entire process easier. The right lawyer can relieve much of the stress associated with a personal injury case.

(AP) ? From rare audio interviews of former slaves to recordings by Donna Summer and the Grateful Dead, 25 sounds that shaped the American cultural landscape are being inducted into the National Recording Registry.

Summer's 1977 hit "I Feel Love" is joining the Grateful Dead's famous 1977 Barton Hall concert as sounds of cultural significance, among 25 additions that are being announced Wednesday by the Library of Congress as part of its registry.

The world's largest library has chosen a diverse array of songs and sounds from history to retain for permanent preservation in the National Recording Registry. Among the new choices this year are Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors," Prince's "Purple Rain" and more.

Some selections are truly historic and rarely heard. They include the only known audio of former American slaves who were interviewed in the 1930s, including one participant who had worked for Confederate President Jefferson Davis. There's also a cylinder from a talking doll created by Thomas Edison in 1888 that is the earliest known commercial sound recording. It was considered unplayable until last year, after new digital mapping tools were used to reveal its sound of a woman singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

The library also is saving Leonard Bernstein's conducting debut with the New York Philharmonic in 1943 and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" by the Vince Guaraldi Trio from 1970, which introduced millions of people to jazz through the TV soundtrack.

"America's sound heritage is an important part of the nation's history and culture, and this year's selections reflect the diversity and creativity of the American experience," said Librarian of Congress James Billington, in announcing his final selections.

Though Summer died last week of cancer, her hit single was selected for the sound registry weeks ago, said Matt Barton, the library's curator of recorded sound. Summer had many hits, but "I Feel Love" rose to the top because it was a breakthrough that would change club music for years to come, according to the library's citation.

"From the first time you heard it, it was just, 'Wow, this is very different,'" Barton said. "We hadn't heard this before. It was enormously influential."

The registry includes early sounds from hip-hop with Sugarhill Gang's "Rapper's Delight" from 1979 that is credited with launching a genre and inspiring future artists.

Funk will have its place in the sound history collection with Parliament's "Mothership Connection" from 1975 with George Clinton's "Ain't nothin' but a party, y'all" on the title track.

Blues singer Bo Diddley is being inducted to the sound registry, too, with "Bo Diddley" and "I'm a Man."

For Mickey Hart of the Grateful Dead, Diddley's sound was some of the first beats he learned as a little boy, he told The Associated Press. So he was thrilled that sounds of the Dead were being preserved at the same time.

Hart had a hand in helping create the sound registry, pushing for a law in Congress in 2000. He said he didn't lobby for his own music to be included this year, though he was letting other "lads" in the band know about the honor.

Their music will be represented with the 1977 Barton Hall concert at Cornell University, which has been cited as one of their best performances ever. The recording was hailed for its sound quality.

"The Grateful Dead just touched a nerve, and it's still relevant in many ways today," Hart told the AP. "It's American-based music, but the combination of it, I guess, was the chemical that ignited, the energy that ignited the spirit of the people for many generations."

One key choice they made was to allow fans to record their concerts live, rather than hiring guards to take away recorders. That helped build an army of "Dead heads," Hart said, because they could all take the experience they had paid for with them. And every concert was always different.

Hart said he is impressed with his fellow inductees in the library collection.

"These are not just songs," he said. "These are talking books ? thousands of years of evolutions of cultures are in this music. It represents something even greater, the hopes, the dreams ... the joy, everything it takes to make up a people are embedded in this music."
