Junior Social Media/Digital Communications Professionals Job, APCO ...

APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs and strategic communications firm, is seeking a talented junior level digital communications/social media professional to join its New York office. In this role, you will support projects for a range of well known, global brands with responsibilities that may include coordinating social media campaigns, blogger outreach, other social network initiatives, social news participation, and social media release development; conducting social media "audits" and research; and educating APCO staff and clients on the implementation of new technologies and social media tools.

Candidates must have a bachelors/graduate degree and a minimum of two or more years of full-time experience in the digital communications/social media space, ideally within an agency setting. Ideally, you should bring to the table both interactive and traditional PR skills, excellent written and verbal communications skills, and strong research, presentation and creative skills. Knowledge of emerging online technology with a particular interest in social media tools and trends, and management of a blog or social networks/communities are required.
