NORTON, Mass. ? Bubba Watson has taken the early lead at the Deutsche Bank Championship with another eagle and a 7-under 64.
Watson made eagle on the par-5 seventh hole for the second straight day and finished two rounds at 10-under 132. Among the early starters Saturday, he was one shot ahead of Brandt Snedeker, who had a hole-in-one on the 16th while also shooting a 64.
Rickie Fowler made nine pars on the back nine and had to settle for a 67, putting him three shots behind.
Phil Mickelson, again using the belly putter, had a 73 and was 11 shots out of the lead. He was in danger of missing the cut, depending on scores in the afternoon.
